Born and raised in colorful Colorado, my passion for the outdoors and adventure developed naturally. Having a keen interest in photography and videography early on in life led me to pursue a bachelors degree in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production at the Art Institute of Colorado.

After graduation, I took an internship with Warren Miller Entertainment and quickly turned the opportunity into a full time role with the company. Aside from editing trailers and sequences for the annual film, I also worked as an on mountain cinematographer and served as a road manager on National and International film tours.

After 6 years with Warren Miller, I shifted into the commercial world and worked on freelance projects with outdoor brands such as Vail Resorts, Red Bull, POC Helmets, Backcountry.com, TREW Gear and Freeskier Magazine. This led to work on commercial projects with companies like Pepsi, Inspirato and BWBacon.

After a few years of commercial work, the mountains were calling again and I moved to Jackson, WY to work with Teton Gravity Research. During my time there I served as Associate Producer and Editor on “Higher”, Produced and Directed a segment for “Paradise Waits” and was Producer, Director, Editor and Narrator for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s 50th Anniversary Documentary “Born To Be Wild”.

In 2015, I created a new company, The Overview Effect, and continued working with clients such as Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Warren Miller Entertainment and TREW Gear.

I am a highly motivated and skilled director, cinematographer and editor with over 10 years of production experience. If you need a solid leader and team player on your next shoot, please don’t hesitate to be in touch.
